International Symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics"

The XVIII International Symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics" will be held in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia) 10-14 March, 2014.

SemiTEq JSC annually participates and sponsors the International Symposium "Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics". Company representatives will present the oral report in the area "Semiconductor Nanostructures: electronic, optical properties, methods of formation".

Starting from 1997-1998 the annual International Symposium «Nanophysics and Nanoelectronics” continues regular discussions on topical issues in such areas as the physics of semiconductor nanostructures, X-ray optics and scanning probe microscopy with the participation of all research groups in Russia, actively working in this field and with the participation of scientists from abroad. Joint Symposium format allows scientists working in related fields to take part in joint discussions of the results and new challenges. Seven years of Symposium experience has demonstrated the success of the joint discussion of nanophysics related issues in one event.

The Symposium scientific thematic covers a wide range of subjects of Condensed Matter Physics, its relevance is dictated by the large number of papers in this field in Russia and abroad, this trend is one of priority directions of science, technology and engineering in Russia. In the Symposium program the special attention is paid to the discussion of transport and optical properties of semiconductor, magnetic and superconducting nanostructures, methods of their manufacturing and testing. This allows to discuss the research results obtained by Russian scientists, and to make a comparative analysis with the foreign research group’s achievements.
